As the smallest wildcat in the Americas, weighing only 1 - 3 kg (2.2 - 7 lbs), the GUIGNA(Oncifelisguigna), pronouncedgween-ya, feeds on small prey including rodents, insects and birds. The moist temperate and bamboo forests of southern Argentina and Chile provide habitat for this excellent tree climber.
