Weighing only 1.2 - 2 kg (2.6 – 4.4 lbs), the tiny BLACK-FOOTED CAT (Felis nigripes) feeds on rodents, small mammals, birds and spiders. This diet provides all the moisture needed to survive in the arid grasslands and deserts of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Angola.
